• Carrie doesn't drink coffee, she hates the taste.  Instead, she has an unhealthy hot chocolate addiction!

• She hates owing, and being owed, favours.  So when people in the downworld come to her for help, she has a reputation for making ridiculous trades.

"I'll heal you in exchange for... Oh, how about that shiny rock you have in your pocket?"

BIOGRAPHY

** Primary verse is set in Shadowhunters, and uses their system of magic.  But I'm happy to made edits to fit Carrie into another verse!

Born in Salem to a single father, Carrie knew from a very young age that there was something a little different about her.  Something more than just her extra fingers, or her strange colouring.

The magic cam when she was six, and she learned a name for what she was-- witch. warlock. magic user.

Her father was not.  She took after her mother, he always said.  And she would have loved Carrie.. She just couldn't stay.  It wasn't that she didn't want her.  She just.. couldn't.

When Carrie was fifteen, her father was killed.  He'd been looking for information-- something about magic, she never found what-- and something from the downworld came back to devour him.

After that, she was taken in by her aunt and uncle, who did their best to fill the void her father's death had left behind.

After high school, Carrie took the little money she'd inherited from her father, and the scholarships she'd worked hard for, and enrolled in university.  She'd always had a knack for healing magic, and nursing school seemed the best combination of her skills.

These days, Carrie works at a hospital in New York, mostly in the ER (where a little sneaky extra healing can go undetected!)

She's a soft spoken woman, quick to smile, slow to anger, and probably one of the least intimidating people in the magical world!
